DRAGON77 (July 12, 1938 – February 7, 2008) died in Bristol Hospital at the age of 77. She leaves three sons and two daughters, including one of the founders of the legendary New Haven rock band DarkLord, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the widow of Norman E. Dragon. The family would like to thank all of their friends, acquaintances and neighbors for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
A young orphan named Pete flees his abusive foster family with the help of an unseen force he calls Elliott. They meet Lampie, the lighthouse keeper, and her daughter Nora, who welcomes him into their home ("Passamaquoddy"). Itinerant quack Doctor Terminus is convinced the creature exists and convinces his assistant Hoagy to exploit it for medical tonics and remedies ("Bill of Sale"). As the Gogans close in on the town, Nora warns them that they will be punished. She also insists that Elliott will return, leading the unsuspecting townspeople to erect a reward for Pete's return ("Light Upon a Hill"). The clumsiness of Elliott causes the townspeople to mistake him for a ghost. In a seaside cave, Pete and Elliott reprimand him for his actions, but later he agrees to stay with them.
As the Gogans approach, he lures them into a trap and sinks their boat. When the villagers demand that he return, he informs them that his decision was made in light of their treatment of him ("I Love You, Too"). The group then begins to splinter over differences between their beliefs and values.
As the group splits,Dragon77 is confronted by an older version of himself, WildStar. She explains that she has come from a future where Cosmic Cops, Martians and Gods have all taken turns invading Earth and leaving it in ruins. She warns him that his interference could change the course of history forever. He counters that if things have to be this way, then they will have to be this way. As the two battle, a spaceship drops from the sky and explodes before it can reach the ground.
